Our distribution network

Westech's team have implemented a unique and effective method of content distribution across the World Wide Web.

Imagine the ability to have multiple areas of your site served from countless "mirrors" around the world which are all controlled from one central location. You can manage which servers get priority manually or software can provide the user with the "fastest" route to a particular server, based on their connection speed to that machine.

Content distribution allows a Webmaster to host videos or images in different locations from regular html pages, thus allowing for less server load and more options to server content from cheaper hosting locations.

An integrated content distribution model also allows for multiple redundancies across numerous networks and servers without the high cost of load balancing.

The diagram above shows how an integrated content distribution model can work to serve HTML pages on one machine and video and audio content from two other machines.
